Little Miss Priss

So Adelaide has become a little priss. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE her to death but she is a drama queen. She does this thing where if she wants you to pay attention to her then she will start to whine here and there. If you still don't pay attention after a few minutes of that it will get louder. Eventually she will whine and then scream really loud and throw her hands down to her sides. It's so funny. Sometimes I can't help but laugh at her. She pulls really funny faces where all of her gums are showing.  Oh don't worry. I got pictures. (: That's kind of the whole point of this post. It is really funny and I felt like dedicating a full blog post about her antics.
Hmm....harmless???
its starting....
And the monster is out!!!! :D
Also, Adelaide has had a cold these past few days. Nothing crazy but she's had a wicked stuffy nose. So she has been really sensitive. Well yesterday it was really bad. She woke up and just had snot everywhere. She would sneeze, rub her nose and then rub her eyes. It was bad. Well after I cuddled her as long as she would let me I set her down to play with some toys. Well she lost her balance and fell back and hit her head. I think it was more of the fall that scared her than the actual bonk on her head. So it took me about 20 minutes to calm her down after that. Then about 10 min after that she bonked her head again this time on a Wii wheel controller. Yeah....that was bad. She was so sad. It broke my heart. And if you know me well, you know that I am an ugly cryer. My nose clogs up, my eyes get as big as golf balls, and my face is a horrid red color. Well, unfortunately my daughter has inherited that from me. So she got even more stuffed up from crying so much. It was really sad. It just broke my heart. So we cuddled a lot. It was so nice. She doesn't really like to cuddle anymore so I really enjoyed it even thought she was sick.

Notice her expression is the same for all of these pictures. LOL
Also, she has started to army crawl....EVERYWHERE!! I was so excited for her to start crawling and now I think I may have been to hasty. She loves turning on and off the xbox and pulling out all the wii games/movies/cds. So this weekend we are going to try and baby proof the house, especially the entertainment center. (We should've bought the stand with the doors.) I love that she is mobile but at the same time I don't. Anyway, until next time. (: Enjoy.

Thanksgiving Shenanigans

The countdown has officially begun for Christmas! I love Christmas time. It's wonderful to have a day to look forward to where we can spend time with family and not have to stress and worry about school, work, and bills. It's also a time where we can really be thankful for the most important gift we have ever been given, Christ. I am so excited! Plus, not to mention we get to go to Michigan for Christmas and we plan on staying there for about 3 weeks. YAY!! :D
So this past week, Thanksgiving! We had such a good time. We planned this huge meal and fried our turkey. Michael got a turkey fryer for his birthday last year so we decided to to fry our turkey. Also, last thanksgiving we went to Michigan and Michael's dad fried their turkey and it was so delicious! This was the one time this year, since we have been in Idaho, that we have been able to scrounge up enough money to afford a nice dinner too. We had green bean casserole, candied yams, turkey, homemade mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls, cranberry sauce, stuffing, pecan pie, apple pie, and sweet potato pie. So we had a good bit of food. (: Even though we only had 4 people eating it turned out great because we came out with alot of leftovers. Michael and I put together most of our stuff the night before so we wouldn't be cooking all day long. The turkey turned out amazing. We did one side sweet and one side spicy-ish. It was succulent, juicy and just down right good. Needless to say from now on we will probably fry our turkey. It's kind of expensive, but sooooo worth it. (: Adelaide tried a little bit of turkey, cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes. She really likes turkey and cranberry sauce, but she cringed and shook when we gave her mashed potatoes. LOL It was really cute. We had a pretty good thanksgiving. Since we didn't get the Texas game on tv we followed it here and there on our computer. But stopped watching when they threw an interception in the 4th quarter. Then we just started playing games together. It was a really good day for us. (:

Playing in the turkey fryer box (:

Adelaide is nearly crawling. Right now she army crawls to get to where she wants. It's so funny. She will get her knees up and then just army crawl to her toys or things on the floor that she thinks she can eat. I think within the next couple of weeks she will be crawling. Yay!! It also makes me sad that she's growing up so fast. But man she is adorable. She is doing such cute things right now!
So yesterday was Leisha's birthday. Not thanksgiving, the day after. So here is her special shout out! I love you and miss you and your family like crazy. We never got along that well when we were younger but I think we came out on the positive end of things. We have come a long ways since the incident of me pushing her over the toilet and into the bathtub out of anger. (: We get along pretty well now. Sometimes she says exactly what I need to hear. She was there for me when Adelaide was born, helping me. And believe it or not, I was glad she was there when my mom wasn't able to be there. It was really comforting to have both of my sisters there. We have had some good times that is for sure. She is such a good mother and I am excited for her to become a mother once again. I miss her so much! I wish we all lived close. Anyway, Happy Birthday Leisha. I love you!

Way back when...in 2010 (:
Today was Reesa Beesa's birthday! YAY! I can't believe how grown up she is. I was able to be there when she came home from the hospital and she was a cute, chubby little girl. And I have enjoyed every moment I have spent with her. She has the sweetest spirit. I love her! I miss her so much and I hope she has a wonderful birthday!

Anyway, until next time....enjoy these pictures.
After the bath (:

Same Old Same Old

Nothing really crazy has happened lately but I have some pictures of Adelaide that I just LOVE! So I had to post them on the blog because they are adorable....and funny.

So Adelaide has started to be a really picky eater....well drinker. She refuses to drink more than 5 oz of formula per feeding. Which, if you knew my child, you would know that that is weird especially with how chubby she is. She usually drinks about 6 oz per feeding but for some reason just stopped. And I'm sure I dont need to rant about how expensive her formula is, so I just asked her pediatrician what we should do. He just said to supplement with more baby food. So that's what we did. Well, we also wanted to see if she would drink some juice out of a sippy cup. It was so funny! She didn't really know how to react. She knew how to hold it and which part to stick in her mouth but when she did she just pulled this weird face.

I was going to take Adelaide to the park today, but we ended up not having time to go with Daddy today before he went to work so we didn't go. BUT, I got Addi all dressed up to go somewhere. She looked adorable. I don't like pink, but she just looks really good in it. We don't usually put her in just full on pink outfits but this one Nana bought her and it looks great on her! So of course I had to take pictures!
HAHAHA I love this one!

This girl is just beautiful! We are in some trouble!

When Adelaide screams/whines, this is the face she pulls. (:
"HEY!!"

Our friends from across the hall are out of town for Thanksgiving and asked us if we would watch their dog while they were gone. We love Lexy! She is so fun and Addi just loves to watch her all the time. So of course we said yes! We really want a dog, but we can't in our apartment complex unless it's a service dog. Since we don't really have a reason for a service dog (or the money, haha) we still don't have one. So we play with our friend's dogs. (:
Anyway, we are really liking Lexy. She is fun and very loving.

She was going to grab the ear but then just pet Lexy. It was so cute!
Anyway, I register for classes on Monday! I am so excited!! :D I finally get to start school again. I would just do online classes but I really do not do well with online classes. I am not motivated enough for them. So I'm looking forward to GOING to school. I'm sure I won't feel that was a couple of weeks into the semester but right now I am very positive and hopeful about this upcoming semester. PLUS!, I get to take a couple of classes with Mike! YAY! We will be able to spend a little more time together finally. Now we just have to find a babysitter...hmmmm.
Mike is still working full time and going to school full time. It's stressful but he is doing well under the circumstances. I am so grateful for him. He is such an amazing man. I know that I can always count on him.
We are doing some family pictures in a couple of weeks so hopefully I can post those next month. (:
Until then.....
So cute!
Have a good weekend! :D
