So after officially being in Rexburg for a little over 3 weeks I am finally putting up pictures of the apartment. Sorry it took so long. We ordered a bunch of stuff online that we were waiting to come in and we just got everything put together today. So here are the pictures of our new apartment:
Adelaide's room
Adelaide's new bed (:
Adelaide's dresser/changing table

The other part of Addi's room. It's plain I know but she doesn't care and it looks fine to me

hanging above our bed waiting for pictures to go underneath (:
our bathroom

So I know our apartment needs a little TLC but we are kind of on a budget and have alot of other things that we need besides decorations. I do have Adelaide's baby blessing hanging above her changing table and a picture that Phil and Emily gave us in her room too. We have a ton of frames just no pictures to put in the yet. LOL I keep forgetting to print some out. Although I did go to do the 1 hour print at walmart online the other day and once I pressed "purchase" I realized that I forgot to change the store location of where I am supposed to be picked up. So I spent 8 bucks on photos that probably wont ever get picked up. BOO!! Dad would say that it is because I'm a "clicker." Meaning that I don't read everything before I click "okay" or "go." Anyway, that is our apartment apart from 1 bedroom. That is patrick and julia's bedroom and I thought it would be weird to take pictures of their room. Basically its just like ours except its a little bigger, bigger closet and their own bathroom.
We are really enjoying ourselves here. We love the weather and the people. We have made friends with a family downstairs and we really like our new ward, the student-family ward! (: Mike started classes this past monday (10th). He is also working full-time at Dickenson Frozen Foods. He is taking 14 credits right now and never has any free time. :( He wakes up and goes to school from 7:45 to about noon. Then he does homework until about 3:00. Then he gets ready for work and leaves around 3:25 so he can be there a little early. His shift starts at 3:45 and ends at midnight. He gets home around 12:15 and usually doesnt get to bed until about 1. Then he does it all over again. So he has a pretty packed schedule. I only really get to spend time with him on weekends. I mean I spend time with him when he is home but he is always doing homework so there isn't much we can do. And most of the time I am in bed by the time he gets home. Gotta love being in college and having a family. (:
On Sunday I noticed Adelaide tugging on her ear. So I thought maybe she would have an ear infection. Well she didn't have a fever or any other symptoms so I didn't do anything about it. Well on Tuesday she was sooo fussy! She just wouldn't calm down for anything. She wouldn't sleep. Tuesday night she wouldn't go back to sleep. Well I laid down on the floor with her in her bedroom and for some reason she fell right to sleep. Well I was utterly exhausted that I fell asleep too..on the floor. LOL Anyway, Wednesday she wasnt really fussy but she did have a fever. I checked it Tuesday night to see how bad it was and she had 99.7. Well she was still happy and playful like usual. Well i decided to not be worried about it because it wasnt terrible and it wasnt affecting her. Well on Wednesday she was still happy but her temperature went up. She got as high as 101.9! So I called the dr and asked them if I should bring her in. They said yes. So as soon as Mike got home from school I took her to the dr. They did all the checks and what not and said she had a pretty high fever (by the way, she weighs 13.3lbs and 3 oz and is 24 in tall). They did all the checks and I told the dr that I thought she had an ear infection. Well it turns out that everything in her is great. No ear infection, no upper respiratory infection, NOTHING! She just has a super high fever. So they drew some blood to see if she has a bacterial infection. It was so sad, I felt terrible. It turns out that she does have a bacterial infection but they can't find the source. So they prescribed her clindamycin and they told me to bring her back in the morning to see how she was doing. So we took her back this morning and I told her that she did have a very high fever last night but she hasn't since then and that the only other thing that wasn't normal was her not eating as much. So they took an xray of her lungs to see if everything was okay with them and it came back perfect. She has great vitals, no temperature nothing. So just to make sure they had to take more blood. It came back the same as the day before. So she still has a bacterial infection and the clindamycin wasn't working. So we got her some more acid reflux medicine to make sure she keeps her new medication down. They told me to throw away the other meds and give her Azithromycin. It's a stronger medication to fight off infection. So hopefully this will work. We have to take her back on Saturday to get more blood drawn and to see if she is getting any better. Despite being sick, she is still pretty happy. (:
I've posted all of the pictures of her on Facebook, so if you wanna see some recent pictures of her just go to my profile page. (:
Well, today was Cara's birthday. I just wanted to do a little shout out to her. Despite the miles that separate us we are pretty close. I miss her tons! She helped me so much on my first journey here in Idaho. She has always been there for me. I remember when I was little that she was always the one I would go to if I was arguing with someone else in the family. I honestly don't remember ever arguing or fighting with her. Even when she was out here in Idaho by herself and we all were in Georgia she still helped me through alot of things. I have always been able to trust her and turn to her for advice. She has been an amazing sister. I am so lucky to have her in my life! She has truly blessed me and helped me in so many ways. I always thought that she has been a great mediator. She always knows what to say to defuse tension and hard feelings. I wish we lived closer, because I would love for Adelaide (and our future kids) to have her close by to learn from. She is a WONDERFUL mother and I hope that I can do as good of a job as her! She has always been a great example to me both in the church and out of the church. These are from 2007! (: LOL

I love you Cara! Thanks for everything! Happy Birthday (:

Welp...It's Official!

We have finally moved to IDAHO!!! :D This day has been long awaited! Last week was one hectic week. We had so much to pack. We got the Uhaul on Monday, Aug. 20th and loaded that up with our roomates stuff first. Then we finished packing all of our stuff and had the truck and the uhaul completely packed by tuesday. So, we we super busy doing all of that. We headed out to our first stop on the three day trip on wednesday the 22nd. We made half way through Nebraska when we stopped and camped. We camped at a KOA off the beaten path which was SUPER NICE! I had heard some bad things about KOA but this one was really nice. I was nervous about Adelaide camping but she did amazing! We fed her and put her down at about 9 and she slept until 6! And when she woke up she was super duper happy. She was amazing.

Before we left
About to get her first bowl of oatmeal!!
Fell asleep with Mimi the day before we left.
Loves her keys grammy and poppy bought her!
St Louis Arch!!!
KC!!! It was just cool looking! LOL
We saw this really awesome church and I had to take a picture

I think this was in Nebraska.
World of Fun, I wish I could go!
This is what we saw for most of the trip....fields.
Camping in Nebraska
She loves camping with Daddy.
The next day was our shortest day so we took our time to get packed up again and to have breakfast. We actually had a sit down breakfast instead of nasty fast food. That was nice even though the closest restaurant was in a gas station. LOL It was really good for where it was. I felt like we would never get out of Nebraska. It took us forever! But it was a beautiful state towards the end. The first half was pretty boring. We only had to drive 411 miles that day so we also stopped for lunch and at the giant Abe Lincoln head just outside of Laramie, Wyoming. That was really cool.
We stopped at a rest stop in WY and this was on the water...I have no idea what it is. Any guesses???

Prettiest Subway EVER!!!
In the subway

Really cool looking

GIANT ABE!!

hehehehehe

Love this

Adelaide in our awesome tent that kept out the wind so good that night.
About to cook the hot dogs!!!
Pretty Mountains!
We also camped at a KOA in Laramie, WY and this one wasn't so nice. It was right off the freeway and in between two trailer parks. I have nothing against trailer parks but it was really loud. But we had already made the reservation and we all just wanted to relax. So we set up camp and cooked out some hot dogs and almost started a fire on the ground a few times. It was really pretty and really windy in Wyoming. I would love to have a vacation home there one day. Adelaide did really well that night too. She did wake up once but that was because she fell asleep super early. As soon as she was fed she went right back to sleep so it wasn't terrible. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl.
We loved the mountains in Wyoming. We stopped in Afton, Wyoming for lunch and to take a break. By then we only had about 105 miles left before rexburg so we all decided that we wouldnt make any more stops until we got there. (We had to be at the apt complex office by 6) So we pulled into the apartment complex an hour earlier than we though we would which was really good! It gave us some daylight to get all of our things into the apartment.

I dont know what this lake is called but it was almost empty.
New apartment!!!
We love our new apartment. We have some friends living with us because it saves us all money. So that's nice but we have a lot of stuff for a 3 bedroom apartment. So far we have made everything work. If we can, next year we would like to live here but we won't be making the same amount of money that we used to so it's not likely. I love how Adelaide has her own room. She does so well in there. It's really nice not to have all of her stuff and our stuff in one tiny room. I will put up pictures of her room and our apartment once it's completely done. We still have some unpacking to do but we are just about moved in.
So before we left for Idaho, I realized that Adelaide was getting angry and upset every time I fed her and she always seemed hungry after. Also, she wasn't really gaining weight. So I decided to pump both sides and see how much I have been producing and to check if it was enough for Adelaide. Well it turns out that I wasn't producing enough. We thought it was just because of stress and that after the move everything would go back to normal. Well in the meantime we decided to start supplementing with formula. We also started doing baby oatmeal at night and in the mornings. She has done so well with it! As much as I did not want to put her on formula I think its just coming down to it. I have tried pretty much everything to try and get my supply back up but its just not working. So for now I am pumping what I can and then supplementing with formula. And I can tell in just the week that we have been doing that, that Adelaide has gained weight. She feels heavier and she's alot happier. Also, she wouldnt take naps for longer than 30 minutes. We realized it was because she was hungry more often. Now she sleeps great for naps and at night.

Adelaide has eczema and it has gotten really bad up here from the dry weather so her cheeks are so red and dry and itchy. But seriously, isn't she the cutest?!
Just chillin before church
She tried peaches today. She didn't really like them.
Anyway, we love our new apartment and being in Idaho. We have been truly blessed to be here and to have this opportunity. Michael is excited to start school on the 10th even though he doesn't really know what to do yet. LOL I will post some more picture probably next week. Until then have a good day!! :D

On to Bigger and Better Things

Only 12 more days!!! I cannot wait to move to Idaho! I am excited to start something knew with Mike and Adelaide. We will finally be able to be our own family. (: I have always wanted and knew I would go back to Idaho for school. And now that we are so close it can't come quick enough. I'm sad to leave all of our family here, especially Blake (hahaha), but it's time for us to move on and start new. We know more than anything that this is where we should be and we are so excited to be moving. It is going to be super crazy and stressful for the next 12 days but we can handle it.
I am a little nervous about traveling 3 days in a car with a baby. Adelaide is such an amazing baby though that I feel like I shouldn't worry about it. We just have a schedule on when and where we need to be for us to make it in time. So we leave on the 22nd, a wednesday, and we plan on making it to Nebraska that first day. Yes, I know that is really far and a long shot with Addi but we really think we can do it. We do plan on camping because Mike and I are cheap but also because we have never been camping together. Crazy right?! We both love camping and have never been together. Well, we have campsites picked out and everything; Adelaide even has her own tent!!! :D Of course it will go inside our tent but still. I love it. It has come in handy alot! Anywho, we have lots to do. The good thing is most of our stuff is already packed away in a storage until, so we don't really have to pack alot.
Adelaide has been growing like crazy, way too much if you ask me. She has rolled from tummy to back several time and she has scooted backwards!!!! Honestly, she hasn't done those things in a few days but who knew she would be so smart!!? She talks non-stop and is happy pretty much all the time. She is learning to squeal and she really loves to play with her toys in her bouncy chair. (Thanks Dzia Dzia and Gigi!!)

She doesn't have a dr. appointment until the end of the month so I'm not sure how big she is. She is laughing all the time now. It's adorable. But, every time I try to video her doing it she always stops, go figure. She loves to chew on her fingers, well anyone's fingers for that matter. She puts everything in her mouth. I feel like she will start teething so but I certainly hope not. We went to Goodwill and bought her a bunch of books and also this little stuffed duck. She loves that duck!!! It's really soft so we always shoves it in her face which is super cute! She sleeps with it constantly now. So instead of having a blanket over her face she grabs the ducks and pulls it up there.

So yesterday Adelaide and I went to lunch with Tom, Michelle and Blake. Well on the way home we saw this awesome car! We were all making our guesses as to what it was and we turned out to all be wrong! I had never seen this car ever in my life or even heard of it for that matter. It was a Mosler Consulier GTP. It turns out that there were only 100 made total! It was the first carbon fiber and Kevlar-bodied vehicle that has no structural metal! How crazy is that!? It's from the late 80s early 90s but the top speed was 155mph, which was actually fast back then. LOL And it had these cool fans on the back of the car, but I dont know what they were for. What are the odds that I would see one of those in Georgia!!!??? I thought it was pretty cool! Not even my dad had heard of it!! Needless to say I feel really special having seen this rare car!

Until next time...(which probably wont be for awhile).....

Her eyes really are that blue! :D I almost always have to put her hair in a small ponytail now because her bangs get into her eyes; but I vowed that I would not cut her hair. When I put her hair up like that Mike always says, "YOU CAN'T GET THE UNIIICORN!!!!" Which is pretty funny if you ask me. I love my little girl and her unicorn ponytail. (:
