The Christmas Blog

Welp, we finally made it to Michigan. We left on Monday morning, the 17th. We spent the day in Salt Lake just hanging around temple square and meeting up with old friends. It was so much fun! We saw a few of the buildings in temple square and the lights at night. That was really cool and super pretty.

These were made out of candy!!!
These too!!
Absolutely LOVE
We left for Michigan early the next morning from the Salt Lake Airport. We flew US Airways and had 2 layovers. It was terrible. The first flight was almost 3 hours to Chicago. We both just felt sick the whole time because there was turbulence and it was a really small aircraft. And they didnt offer any kind of snack, only drinks. We had about an hour layover in Chicago until our next flight to Ohio. That one was about an hour and a half of pure misery. The only good thing about that flight was that Adelaide slept the whole time. This plane was even smaller than the first one and had terrible turbulence. We got nothing but drinks on that one too...no pretzels or anything! So we finally land and then have another hour layover in Ohio until Flint, MI. So we grabbed something to eat and just hung out for a little bit. We finally got on the last plane to MI and that was so small. Im sure ya'll have seen the pictures on facebook. But it was a prop plane. So there was about, oh I dont know, 30 people that could fit on it. That was probably our best flight because the flight was only about 45 minutes and there wasn't any turbulence. Adelaide did great all day for a crawling baby. She is such a little angel. (: I love her to death. So we finally landed and it was a 2 hour drive back to the house. So that was awful for me. I was just tired and car sick. Adelaide fell asleep on the way for about an hour so that was nice. And there ya have it! We made it to Michigan for the next 3 weeks!! YAY!
We have had such a blast here. We got a big snow storm last week and got about a foot of snow. It's been snowing on and off ever since. I love it! Mike and I made a massive snowman one day and then he buried me in the snow. LOL I really do love the snow. It's been cold and windy but I do live in Rexburg, so I'm kind of used to that. We did Santa for Adelaide and she didn't seem to care for him. She didn't cry alot but she wasn't comfortable with him. She got tons and tons of presents. She got so many that after she opened about 20 she decided that she didn't want to open presents anymore. It was rather frustrating. She just got really cranky. So we gave her a bottle and put her down for a nap. Sadly she was cranky for most of the day. But she still LOVES all her toys. Gigi and Dzia Dzia were wayyy to nice this year.

Adelaide loves cars. (:

So cute!
So those are some pictures from our adventures lately. We have had a blast so far.
Mike and his dad have gone hunting but haven't shot anything. and a couple of days after the season ended they went out to take down all of their stuff and saw alot of tracks from a ton of deer!! Too bad so sad!! Anyway, we are having a good time out here. I'm gonna be honest though....Im excited to get back to Rexburg. I really love it out there. (:
Until next time...

All about Addi

Well, its official Adelaide has two small teeth coming in on the bottom! I am so excited! She hasn't really been that fussy lately. She had, I think, one bad day but other than that she has been pretty normal. Once we figured out that she was teething we were able to give her some medicine to help relieve her pain. That has helped tremendously. She also really likes the flavor of the medicine. (:
Michael and I walked down to this store called Super Savers yesterday and I found a little crochet beanie on the side of the road. Well since mine didn't turn out like I wanted I decided that I would just pick this one up and see if it fit Adelaide. The hat had obviously been on the side of the road for awhile because it was frozen and kind of dirty. So I took it home and washed it to give to Adelaide. Oh my goodness!! IT LOOKS SO CUTE!! I seriously have such a cute daughter!
Michael has officially finished his first semester at BYU-Idaho!! YAY!!! I think he did really well under the circumstances. Between work and family it started to wear on his grades. But he came out on the positive end!
We took some family pictures the other day! I was so excited to take some good pictures! We should get them back around Sunday so we will post them then. But I gave Adelaide a bath before pictures and then she got really sleepy. But I didn't want to put her down for a nap and her mess up her hair. Because when Adelaide takes a nap or goes to bed on wet hair it comes out looking pretty darn crazy. So I decided I would blow dry it. I know I'm a crazy mom. I just wanted it too look good for pictures! So we got a few shots of me blow drying Adelaide's hair. She didn't cry, but I don't think she really liked it.
We finally got Adelaide a Christmas dress! We bought it on Cyber Monday. Get this, it was a 50 dollar dress and we got it for 16!!!! BOO YA! Plus its super duper cute! So after christmas I will post pictures of her in the dress. I don't wanna spoil the surprise just yet! we also got her a hoodie that was also on sale for 5 dollars! It looks so cute!
So by this time next week we will finally be in Michigan spending the holidays with the family we rarely get to see! So we are really really excited to finally have a break and spend time with the Godells!
Until then, here are some pictures I took of Adelaide.
