Changes, changes, and more changes!!

So, I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and still nothing! I know that a lot of the time first time moms rarely go early on their own but I still have hope. Last week I woke up in the middle of the night with contractions, well I thought they were contractions. They were about 7 minutes apart for an hour and they were lasting about 45 seconds each. So I got pretty excited but knew I needed to just wait and see if they kept going. Well....after an hour they stopped. :( Then, yesterday I had random contractions all day long and at about 6pm they started to get regular. They were averaging about 4 minutes apart and lasting for at least 40 seconds. I really thought that this time it could be it. But after about 45 minutes they just stopped again. I think Adelaide is teasing me. She knows I cant control any of this, so she's purposely doing it. (; I know she can come any day now and its killing me!!! I'm so ready for her to be here! Hopefully this weekend when I go to the dr they will tell me I've somewhat progressed. But for now all I can do is wait and relax.
So the relaxing isn't that easy. Michael and I have so much going on and that will go on within the next few months. We just bought a new(used) car. And since it's used there are some things that need to be done to it. Which costs money, that we dont have a whole lot of right now. But we know that things will work out and that we can get through these next few months.
Roxanne (roxy) our jeep!! :D
We are moving to Idaho in August (hence the jeep) and need to save up a lot of money and Michael's mom and step-dad have been very gracious and let us move in with them until then so that we can save that money. So this past weekend that's what we did, move...and sell our Jetta. That was a sad day but we made a $400 profit that we are putting towards all our debt. (: Like I said, we have a lot going on in the next few months, between moving, the baby and paying off debt and saving money we dont have a whole lot of time to relax.
But, on the plus side, my birthday is tomorrow!! I honestly haven't really paid much attention to it. I don't really have plans because my mind has been in so many other places and on things that are ten times more important. But I will finally be 21, and I'm okay with that. (:
It was our last sunday this past sunday teaching our primary class and being in the Allatoona ward. I have to admit that we had a tough class but I am going to miss them. They were wonderful kids and taught Michael and I so much.
dimitri

We also got rid of our cats, Squintz and Dimitri. We werent able to take them to Mike's parents house so we took them to a Petsmart where the people said they would find a home for them quickly. I miss them a ton! We have had them since they were just 6 weeks old and they were such awesome kitties.
squintz
So we have had a lot of changes within the past couple of weeks and have more to come. We know that this is the path that our Heavenly Father wants us to take and we have faith that He will help us do so. (:

Then Comes a Baby in a Baby Carriage!!! (:

The plane over!!! :D

Atlantis!!! :D

First picture of the Ocean!!! :D

Mike wanted to lick the fishy head!! DROSS!

After our glorious wedding and our very cheap honeymoon at our apartment we were loving life! Michael's mom and step-dad had planned a family vacation to the Bahamas just a month later. Needless to say we were pretty excited. So we packed up our things, grabbed our passports, and headed to Atlanta for a plane ride to Nassau, Bahamas. I felt like that plane ride would never end...manly because I felt like I was peeing every 5 minutes. We finally arrived to our absolutely gorgeous destination and waited in a super long line for them to check our passports and what not. I just wanted to jump in my bathing suit and swim out to sea!
So we finally get a taxi and he takes us to our hotel. The taxi driver was so friendly. He kept honking his horn at everyone. He said that in the Bahamas they honk their horn to say hi or what's up. (: Some of the taxi's even had a sign on them that said "watch out! this vehicle is being driven in a reckless manner!" I tried to get a picture but they were always going way too fast. We stayed in a hotel that was right next to Atlantis which was pretty sweet because we had full access to Atlantis at all times. We got in our swimsuits, headed to Atlantis, and then went to the beach. I had never seen water so clear in my life! It was absolutely beautiful! It really makes you happy and thankful for what the Lord has made for you. I sometimes think He knew I would love the ocean so he made places like that just for me. (: If only, right?
The next few days consisted of spending LOTS of money (everything is very expensive there), eating, and playing in the water. Michael and I even got up one morning to watch the sunrise even though it was a little cloudy. We spent the 4th of July there and the Bahamas had a party and did fireworks for the U.S. It was pretty much the coolest thing ever! We found tons of seashells and went snorkling. We also went on this ship thing called "The Booze and Cruise" hahahaha. It was actually pretty fun even though we don't drink. They took us way out in the ocean by this random island and let us snorkle there. There was trick Michael and Blake learned from a local...he said to peel apart bread put it in a water bottle and fill it with the sea water, shake it up and then go to the bottom and let some pour out and watch all the fish just swarm it! So we tried it and OH MY GOODNESS!! It was so cool!! So many different fish just swarmed us! We even saw a Barracuda!! Needless to say I got out after that. I love the ocean without all the scary, menacing creatures in it.
I totally did this!!! SO SCARY!!!

Overall we had a really great time in the Bahamas. That was exactly one month after our wedding. Remember when I mentioned on the plane how much I was peeing. That lasted the whole trip. I started to think maybe something was up. So I came home and took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. WHEW!!! right???? NOPE!!! I just didn't have enough of the hormone in me for the test to pick up; and I even bought the expensive one! Well about 2 weeks later I took another test and BING BING BING!! PREGNANT!! I cried, not because I wasn't happy but because I was excited and I knew how happy Michael would be. He's wanted to be a dad all of his life. Naturally I couldn't hold that little secret in too long, we told our family and a couple of close friends. Then it just got out like wildfire. By our first ultrasound everyone knew. And just like that we were starting our family. No we didn't exactly plan to have kids so soon but hey things happen. The doctor said I most likely got pregnant a couple after we got home from the Bahamas, but I don't believe him. I think I was pregnant already but whatever. People joke and say we have a honeymoon baby, but Adelaide is a blessing in every way. It has forced both Michael and I to rethink a lot of things and really change ourselves for her. Even though she wasn't planned we know that she is meant to be here at this time for a reason.
I couldn't turn the photo!
So, here I am 9 months later ready to push this sucker out! I wouldn't say that I've had a rough pregnancy compared to others but its been pretty crazy. I started getting super sick around 6 weeks and it lasted until about 20 weeks. It was dying off slowly but I still got sick at 20 weeks maybe once or twice. I even had nausea medicine but sometimes it just didn't help. I finally jumped into my second trimester thinking this one was gonna be the easiest. Well I stopped puking and then I had like 3 more things pop up. And then those  somewhat went away when I began my third trimester but so many other things happen in the third trimester. We found out in November that I am having a little girl!!! My due date is April 14th and I'm huge! No one, including me, thinks I will go that long. I kind of hope I don't just because I don't know how I can stretch anymore!! We have decided to name her Adelaide Grace. I'm pretty excited and nervous. I just hope everything goes smoothly.Mike thinks I should be walking every day and eating tons of spicy food! I have been having more braxton hicks lately. Cara and her family won't be here until after April 3rd, so we will see if baby Addi decides to come early or late. Personally I'm so tired of being exhausted, out of breath, and restless. I don't get much sleep anymore and my hips and shoulders are constantly aching. But that's the price you pay for having kids, so I guess I'm okay with it. (:
36 weeks!!

Then Comes Marriage (:

Well, Michael and I were engaged for 6 months before we got married. And that was a forever long engagement. I don't know how people can be engaged for years, because I certainly wouldn't be able to do that.
Since Michael is the only member of the LDS church in his family it was kind of a hard thing for them. BUT....the temple was under renovation during our engagement and was opening right before our wedding day. So we got to take his mom, step-dad, and little brother through the Temple Open House. That was the most amazing experience. It was such a rare, special opportunity that we were blessed to share with them. So I think it helped them understand that even though they weren't able to be in the room we were sealed in they were able to see what it looks like before the temple opened again.
Everyone who came to the Temple Ceremony

On Friday, June 3, 2011 Michael and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the Atlanta LDS Temple. Besides being a crazy stressful few weeks, that moment with him was the most calming and exciting time for me. I finally was married to the one and only person I have wanted to spend forever with. It was such a hot day that day. Im pretty sure it was around 90 with 300% humidity. LOL Everyone was sweating gallons. I guess that's what we get for getting married in Georgia during the raging summer. So needless to say Michael and I did not want to hang around too long and take pictures. So after what we felt was a good amount of pictures we changed and went to a luncheon with just close family and friends at a little italian restaurant in Marietta. We took up the whole back of the restaurant and it was awesome! We had so much fun! On the way home from that, I called my bestest friend Nikki and told her that I was no longer a free woman! She was unable to make it home from college. :(
Ring Ceremony
The next day we had a ring exchange/reception at a local church building. It was decorated so beautifully which I have our families to thank for that. The ring exchange was for those who were not able to be in the temple with us. I can honestly say that I don't remember a whole lot of that because I was still in my shocked "I CANT BELIEVE IM FINALLY MARRIED!!!" stage. (: We had wonderful food and great guests who came to congratulate us. It was a wonderful, special weekend. We drove off from there in our Jetta with FULL Dr. Pepper cans attached to the back of the car. Yes, they did explode and I'm sure it was awesome!
Me and Dad! :D
Then about a day and a half later Michael and I got SUPER sick! I mean like raging sick. We quickly found out that it wasn't just us. Almost everyone who went to our reception got very very sick. Just our luck, the norovirus had made its mark on anyone and anything it could. So for about 3-4 days after being married we were both at home puking and well...ya know just about every 10 minutes. Such a lovely memory of your wedding reception. Despite the nasty virus that somehow spread at our reception we had a beautiful and memorable wedding.

First Comes Love (:

Well, I have finally joined the blogging world!! :D I have to admit that I am kind of excited about this!
This is us at our church group.
So...first comes LOVE! Michael and I met through the singles group in our church! We were both dating people at the time and so our love didn't blossom until later. But as time went on we became really good friends. We would play Ultimate Frisbee every Thursday with other people in our church group. I never went alone, so my best friends, Charlotte and Nikki would come with me. We found out that we really like frisbee! It was funny because one day Nikki asked me and Charlotte if we had to choose anyone on the field to date who would it be. Well I said Michael but he was dating someone and it was serious so I knew it wouldn't happen. As we laughed and joked around about that little did I know that we would end up married one day!
This was our first picture together...ever (:

Michael and I became really good friends and started doing things together. We both ended our relationships and continued our "friendship." We went to see Despicable Me together one day and Michael flirted the whole night! Well a few weeks later, August 8, 2010 we started our wonderful relationship!!! :D And then I moved to Idaho to go to school. LOL We were dating for 3 weeks before I moved away but I knew that Michael was the one for me. We continued our relationship long distance for the next 4 and a half months. Man was that a LOOOONNNNGG 4 and a half months. I came home for christmas and decided not to go back out to school and I got ENGAGED instead!!! :D
Mike had planned for us to go see Beauty and The Beast at the Fox Theater in January of 2011. That's my favorite movie and neither of us had been to the Fox before. I knew that he had already talked to my dad for permission on my hand in marriage so I knew something must be up when he told me that we were going to see Beauty and the Beast. After that we went to the Atlanta Georgia LDS temple (which was still under renovation at the time) and walked around and just enjoyed being together. We knew that we were going to get married in that temple, so it was nice to be there and to just enjoy that when no one else was there. So Mike takes me around the back and asks if I wanna sit down. So we sit and talk for awhile. (May I remind you it was January and super cold outside, both of us were shaking.) Well then Michael asks me to dance, because I love to dance with him, and the next thing I knew he was on one knee asking me to marry him. It all happened so fast but it was a special experience. Since I still had a curfew of 12 am we just stopped at Wendy's and grabbed some food and then made our way home. The rest of our story is TO BE CONTINUED..... :D
Engagement Picture (this wasn't actually how he did it)
